Tuesday, 7/7 Tracker




I read an article yesterday about becoming Paleo - and how the first month is the most difficult (understandable) but the article encouraged folks to stay the course - get thru the first month into the 2nd where they say many more benefits start to take shape and get noticed. I think the first month was pretty good - so I'm excited that Tuesday was the first day of Month #2 and that I can expect more benefits from this healthier lifestyle.

I also did a comparison of this month's daily calories vs. last months - just to see where I'm at. Turns out I'm consuming 200 less calories per day which obviously makes me very happy. However, I can also tell you that my calories will be dropping even further over the next month as a result of the reduced portion sizes I'll be having. I recently discovered that I do not need as many calories per meal as I've been having. I've grown accustomed to eating very large portions - but as the days and weeks go by I'm getting comfortable with not eating all the time. With being in control of what and when I eat and I have to say it's totally liberating. I'm Loving It!  Meanwhile...
