So the
fundraiser last night was a lot of fun. The comedy was terrific – me and my
friend Jackie laughed till we cried – no joke, it was hilarious. 2 nights of great
comedy in the same weekend, what are the odds? But it was a reminder that I
just don’t laugh enough. I need to do much more of that – it feels really good.
I’m also in
need of some R&R – so I’m in the process of planning a winter vacation.
After our last winter (which was snow, ice and cold for almost 6 months!) I
want to go someplace warm, sunny and beautiful. Hopefully winter won’t be
really bad, but nonetheless..
As for today,
I was very busy so I’m glad I was able to make time for a workout. I also added
some food detail to the tracker today – the organic spring mix that I have
every other week, I wanted you to see how good this mix actually is. I have a
large bowl full every morning and sometimes at dinner as well. I never use
dressing, don’t need it (or the calories) on any salad. As for the spring mix, I
only have this on alternating weeks because quite frankly I don’t like the
taste of some of the greens like the raw spinach and beet greens. However, the
mix as a whole is organic and incredibly healthy so I made a conscience decision
a couple months ago to incorporate it into my diet – by alternating weeks. When
I’m not having this mix I’m having my beloved organic red / green romaine mix. Much
better tasting! Meanwhile…
