I had a great day today all things considered. I woke up at 5am, peeled a bag of carrots for the week. Watched a movie - made a smoothie and by 8am back to bed until noon! Then a hot shower - quick lunch and out the door to John's Farms in Hicksville.
I kept my calories lower than normal throughout the day in anticipation of dinner - and thank goodness I did that! I had a hearty dinner - but ate it over 2 hours (good conversation!). I came in a bit over calorie goal. We went for a nice walk after dinner - then I served butter pound cake with fresh sliced strawberries and cream - but I decided not to indulge. Dinner was enough and I have lots of leftovers so spaghetti and meat sauce will be on the tracker 2-3 more times over the next few days (no complaints here!) Meanwhile...
