Cross That Bridge...




So the weekend is here as is another storm front – supposed to hit Sunday. I’ll cross that bridge…  I’m making stuffed cabbage casserole tomorrow in the slow cooker. Doesn’t that sound scrumptious? It does to me. I’ve decided to try 4 new things each month and I’m really enjoying that. So far I’ve made homemade cream of mushroom soup. I’ve bought a mandolin and made homemade baked potato chips. I’ve been making homemade popcorn on the stove top in a 4 qt pot (glass top). And now I’ll make this casserole. It may not sound like much but it is for me. Next Saturday I’ll be making homemade hearty lentil soup. I have a great recipe and I’ve invited a couple friends to join me – I’ll serve it with crusty bread. Okay, enough about that.
