Countdown to Weigh-In #12


 
Today my daily average drops under 1900. This was no easy feat. I was speaking with my BF earlier today and told her how proud I am of myself that I’ve managed to strategize all month and keep my calorie counts under control. It has taken quite a bit of thought, juggling, preparing, and sacrificing to do that, but I couldn’t be happier with results. And please understand this, I am not happy just because I’ve kept the calories under control, I’m happy because of all the effort I’ve put into it. As I’ve said in previous posts, this has been the most challenging of all months to date – and had I not employed so many strategies it could easily have been a very bad month. I am very tough on myself, and if this were any other month I would be very unhappy with consistently hovering close to 2000 calories throughout the month. But there has been one party and outing after another – and so many opportunities to have treats at work. So with that in mind, I consider this to be a very successful month. Weigh-In is 2 days away. I’ll probably take a sneak look before – but we shall see. J     Meanwhile…
