Decisions Today -- Effect Tomorrow









Today is the first official day of Year #2 of this healthy journey. Every month for the past 12 months I have had weight loss. I have struggled with food and weight my entire adult life so to be able to say this, to me is just amazing. I am a far different person today than I was in December 2013. I am more powerful, more confident and of course a lot healthier. However, I am not resting on my laurels, no sir. This isn’t a sprint it’s a marathon. It’s my life, and I plan on growing old healthy with a wonderful quality of life. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about retirement – and by retirement I mean moving to a warm, sunny paradise having a cash business and being financial well off for the remainder of my life. But alas that is many, many years away – but obviously I have to plan for it now – and I have no intention of moving to paradise unhealthy. So every decision I make today will affect my tomorrow’s – and while I don’t always make the best decisions, I am far better at it today than a year ago and I’m growing and learning and getting better at it every day. Over the next couple years I will continue to grow strong and the person I am now will be long gone. Replaced by a better, healthier version of my current self. This to me is mega-exciting!  Meanwhile…
