4/12... Eating Without Utensils

I’ll have to keep this post brief today. I’ve been up since the crack of dawn going for a 7:15am oil change. Gonna take a quick nap before its time to leave and meet friends for the road trip..

I'm happy to finally report that Spring has finally descending upon Long Island, NY. Yesterday it actually hit 73 ° - it felt so wonderful. Had lunch with a friend in the park – but noticed there wasn’t a single leaf on any tree – yikes. We need rain and sun and a lot of it!

I also had a nice walk this morning (30min) thru our complex. Its a gorgeous spring morning, bright sunshine, warm temps and a ever so light breeze in the air. Saw someone planting a row of pretty flowers. Lovely.

Okay, back to the business at hand. Since Wednesday’s weigh-in I’m doing very well with the slightly lower daily calorie goal (1800). This is where I’m parking it for the next few months. It won't be lowered again, not for a good long time (not deliberately anyway). Now it’s all about slowly changing the foods that I eat. Slow and steady wins the race. J


Well, that’s it for today. Off to Medieval Times where food is served without benefit of fork, spoon or knife. We’re expecting to have a blast (bringing antibacterial wipes just in case...)!
