Super Tracker


File:Nürburgring - Grand-Prix-Strecke.svgSo what's a Super Tracker?  It’s the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) official website that helps you lose weight, get in shape and tracks you every step of the way.

The website gives you a personalized nutrition and physical activity planner that helps you set and meet goals.  Full access to “Food-A-Pedia” an encyclopedia of sorts that lets you look up nutritional information for over 8,000 foods and compare them side-by-side. The ‘Food Tracker’ feature tracks the foods you eat and compares it to your nutritional targets while the ‘Physical Activity Tracker' sets up your activities and then tracks your progress as you go. Your profile includes  personalized reports, a ‘virtual coach’ to help support your Top 5 Goals and a virtual recipe box that stores all your favorite recipes that can analyze the nutritional info at-a-glance.

It’s a cool website, government sponsored (USDA) so you get lots of information that you won’t find on other sites. And since our tax dollars are paying for it, why not take advantage. You don’t need to use the full site – you can pick and choose any feature / option you like. Your the boss.
