Nothin But Pride!




So, today was a meatless day! In case you didn't notice I haven’t been quite as diligent with meatless these past 4 weeks. As I mentioned a few days ago I found this month to be a bit challenging – my appetite and a few other internals have been a little off and so early on I decided to just accept it rather than fight it and as a result I actually feel pretty great. I believe sometimes our bodies go through biological processes (could be hormones or other changes) but whatever the case, I decided not to be annoyed with myself, but instead to literally go with the flow and as a result I didn't stress at all about any of it and I'm positive that kept the calories under control. No need stressing about things that are natural – I’ve done a very good job of tracking and staying on top of my caloric intakes in spite of the spike in appetite. It’s also the first month of the holiday season with some parties and lots of candy and cookies floating around and I expect this coming month may be similar, and if that’s the case, that’s fine too. I'm very proud of myself because what I managed to do this month is control the excess eating. In other words, I literally had hundreds of opportunities to really chow down, to guzzle tons and tons of junk food, cakes, candies, ice cream, loads of Italian and Chinese food etc. But instead I was very mindful with what I ate. Yes, I did indulge, but I made the decisions and I also curtailed it every step of the way to insure that it didn't get out of control. I know weight loss will be much less this month but am I upset? Of course not. I'm super proud of myself for an outstanding month. I did fantastic! AND I might add, 2 nutra blast smoothies just about every day since last weigh in which means tons of nutrition pouring into my body. Yeah, I am super proud of myself, it was an outstanding month!  Meanwhile…
