The Mulling Process...







Slept great last night – could have slept more… I had a great weekend. Added another 6 miles to my team’s total – happy about that. My legs are getting noticeably stronger. I’m climbing the stairs with greater ease I went to the gym twice last week and I have my final appointment tomorrow evening. My Monday post will discuss my experience and decision.

For now, I will keep this short and sweet. I came in under calorie goal today, dropping the daily average calorie to 1774. Another topic I’ve been mulling over is processed foods, and more specifically how I can eliminate most from my diet. By processed I mean any food that has been manufactured from its original state into a new state. I.e. turkey into turkey bacon, wheat into cereal, etc. This is no small task mind you and I’ll probably never be able to completely eliminate all processed foods, but clearly some are much worse than others. For instance, whole grains turned into Ezekiel bread, this is okay. But Kraft Mac & Cheese, not okay. Cold cuts, sausages, hot dogs, Equal sugar substitute, not okay.
