On The Decline.









With today's daily calories my average drops to 1738. Just a smidgen more to go to hit 1700. I'm happy.

What a busy day and week this is. Lots on my plate (no pun intended). But I'm taking Thursday off for a visit with my big brother to celebrate his birthday. I love that we still get together for birthdays,  holidays etc.

So, as promised - let's talk a little about the gym. Okay, after 3 private training sessions I am convinced that there are enough machines for me to work on that it will be worth the investment of my time and energy. No question I'll build muscle, tone up some, lose inches and gain much needed strength. However, the annual cost is prohibitive. So, after much thought I decided to speak with the manager and owner together. I asked for a discount of a specific dollar amount (one that I knew was reasonable and doable). I am happy to say that they agreed to my request. In turn, I signed a 1 year contract. With that, I get 2 personal training sessions per week for the entire contract year. I love that. In this I am confident that I will not be injured or overuse my joints. I'm very happy. I'll be going to the gym Monday's and Thursdays (except this week). I am very happy. Another brick in the roadway to my healthy & strong future.

In closing, I've still got processed food on my mind. I've been reading articles and discussing with people that are more knowledgeable than myself on the subject and basically I'm scaring myself. I think I'm going to come up with a goal for next month. Perhaps eliminating one processed food that I regularly eat and replacing with a natural food item. We'll see. I'm not sure what I'll do but know for certain I'm going to start addressing this issue on my tracker in the near future. I may not even wait until September. Meanwhile,
