Blueprint





Another incredibly busy day. Being a proactive soul, I've already started working on a major 2015 project - sketching out the blueprint for a new initiative that I plan on rolling out in the next 3 months  and let me tell you, its a brainteaser. But for now, I'm thinking about the weekend ahead and strategies for handling the calories that are forthcoming. So one thing I've done is changed the dessert menu for tomorrow night. Being in charge of desserts for a friends dinner party I've made an executive decision that instead of uber fattening - I'll go with fattening and not so fattening - so that will be a big help. And I'm also putting a drink limit on myself (I'll let you know how that goes).

I was speaking with a colleague earlier this week who reminded me that American's typically gain 8-10lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years Day - and I agree with that because it's happened to me for many years. But it's not happening anymore - I can tell you that. And I believe next year's holiday season will be even easier because I'll enter it with some knowledge and experience - two great weapons in any fight. For now...
