An Exciting Year!






So today marks the first day I’ll be recording my ‘steps’ walked on the tracker. This is exciting because it signifies a year of movement that I have purposed in my heart to begin. Healthy Evolution started in January 2014 and has evolved into a daily treasure. I love all the changes I made. I love the weight I lost and all the weight that will come off this year. I love that I track and post my calories daily. I love that I added smoothies to my regimen - twice a day, increasing my intake of fruits and vegetables 10 fold. I love that I’m now focused on portion control. I purchased 7” plates that I’m using regularly. I also started a Paleo conversion – keeping afternoons and evenings free of simple carbohydrates. This is something I’ve worked on for several months and it’s been a challenge. Some habits are hard to break, but this is so important that I’m not willing to let it go. It’s one of those changes that I’ll find a way to make work. Healthy Evolution is truly a work in progress and I’m loving it. Meanwhile…
