And a Lifetime to Go...



This was a busy week. The New Year brings a lot of new challenges. But I love it because it signifies new beginnings and I really love the opportunity to start fresh – especially something old.

As for tracker… today was day two of gluten free – and I'm going strong. I had a little cheat that I didn’t record on my tracker yesterday  – just a few calories so I’m okay. I love the cereal – it’s Chex Honey Nut – tastes like Honey Nut cheerios – so that’s great. The box is small though (12oz) and costs as much as a 23oz box of Raisin Bran, but I guess that’s the price you pay for gluten free that tastes good. But believe me I’ll shop around. As for breads, I’ve only eaten the gluten free bagels so far, I haven’t tried the bread. The bagels are dry – but tolerable. From the looks of the package, the bread is much smaller than a standard slice and will probably be dry as well. I’ll keep trying until I find something I enjoy. I’m not a huge bread eater – but I have sandwiches 3-4 x a week and so the bread is important. Otherwise all is well. 2 Days off gluten -- and a lifetime to go... Meanwhile:
