TGIF! Taking some vacation days effective today! Weather is beautiful. I’ll be doing some walking today and over the weekend and may squeeze in a swim.  I’ve got ladies night tomorrow which includes dinner out. This time we’ve all decided that after dinner we will head over to the mall for a good leg- stretcher! I’m so happy about that. And of course that’s before heading to one of our homes for coffee and desserts.. I’m gaining more discipline as I go so I’m not anticipating the usual 3000 calorie evening. I think I’ll be fairly close to my 1960.  That’s the interesting and predictable thing about this process, it gets easier as it goes which is very good news because it really starts off being difficult. I had a lot of bad habits that didn’t want to go away without a fight. It was a real tug-of-war at first. I think that’s the way it is when we try to break any habit, it’s always difficult at first and then it quickly starts to become easier and easier until hopefully it just breaks. I’m not there yet, but eventually.
