3/7... An International Audience :)

Today is the last day of week #8,  Day 54 of the Journey

The Benefits of Blogging: If I had to pick just one word to describe this journey it would be ‘evolution’.  The word perfectly illustrates the type of weight loss program this has been. It describes the progression of the daily tracker and the blog itself which has undergone several iterations since day one. The aesthetic appearance has changed several times but so has the content. It has slowly evolved into serious, focused postings with emphasis on good health and daily calorie tracking. With new set goals, the addition of exercise tracking and the *IF, as well as an expansion of the blog to include an on-line weight loss community which has resulted in a growing audience – now at 70 hits daily - I’m very excited about that. What’s really interesting is the audience geography. While most of the hits come from right here in the U.S.A., I’m also getting hits from places like India, Germany, United Kingdom, Poland and Egypt! My friend Diane asks ‘how do they know about this in other countries’?  I have to credit the internet with that – there are people from other countries in the weight loss community, plus postings can easily be shared and I’m also part of a Google blog directory, so they can find it there as well. I think it’s so cool. But no matter where the hits are coming from, I’m just so happy for the continued support. It inspires me and helps keep me on track and for that I’m very grateful.


Note: On March 13th I’ll be posting my weigh-in results. I’ll also post my first incremental weight loss goal as well as ‘before’ pictures.
