Immediate Drought Required










Another gorgeous day on Long Island - same as yesterday. Got a lot of packing done today. Even managed to get out and take a nice walk in the beautiful weather.


Recently (the last couple weeks) my calves have been retaining water to the point of genuine discomfort in my legs, ankles and feet. I've been drinking a lot more water lately in addition to 3-4 cups of coffee every day. I've also been eating a lot of pickles over the past few weeks which are very high in sodium. So I made two immediate changes: no coffee and no pickles. Well, it's 8pm EST and my calves were nice and soft all day long! Amazing how some minor adjustments can make such an immediate difference. Of course I'm happy.
