Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs







So Planet of the Apes was excellent (as I knew it would be). It’s the first modern day sequel and they did a great job with it. The BBQ was a lot of fun. My calories for the day were higher than expected – but no complaints. I had a blast and I’ll make up the extra calories as I go. Of course the average went up so I’m still watching that. My goal is to be under 1750 by Friday. I didn’t walk as much as expected yesterday, I’ll try to make up for it today. J
This morning was overcast and cool. Low 70s and again no humidity. I think we reached mid 80s. Perfection. I'm adding oatmeal to my breakfast line-up because I can have it with PB2 which gives me some morning protein other than eggs. I don't like eating too many of those due to cholesterol. Mine is fine but I plan on keeping it that way. Egg yolks are so ridiculously high in cholesterol they make shrimps look like they have none. And one more change - no more alcohol. I've been giving this some serious thought and basically mixed drinks are like coffee. The alcohol is the caffeine, and juice is the 'sugar' component. It's just two things that my body can absolutely live without, be healthier without, and calories I can definitely do without. A win-win-win. So that's my Sunday. More good decisions. 

PS There was a chance of meatballs with angel hair pasta, but I decided on meat sauce instead. I cooked for company and it was the best way to go. yumkins
