Two Days To Go

August marks month #8 since I started this journey in early January. But I didn’t document the first month so I can’t include it in my analysis. And that’s okay – every month has been a learning experience and seen lots of improvements. It really is an evolutionary journey in every sense. A very long journey full of adventure and excitement.
The weekend was wonderful. I really enjoyed it. This will be a busy week, I’m getting a free week at a local health club so I’ll get a personalized weight training program that hopefully accommodates my special needs. I’ll probably be at the gym 3-4 times this week just to take advantage of the ‘free’ opportunity which will really be needed for me to make a decision. I need to be convinced that the program will not only be effective, but it has to be diverse enough to help me reach a variety of goals, without causing joint damage (present or future). That's a tall order and I’m a tough evaluator. I will not join unless I am completely convinced that the trainer is truly knowledgeable and has experience working with my type of challenges and shows me how to build muscle without hurting myself. I’ll keep you posted.
Meanwhile I’m closing out the day with a daily calorie average of 1755 – I’m very pleased with that. Two Days until next weigh-in.
